As the cat situation is very overwhelming in UAE , we will be having  weekly cats&kittens adoption days, every Saturday unless notified differently . Our target is to find reliable forever homes for the pets we rescue  and the pets that public members are helping with.

Our location will be  at The City Vet Clinic 043883990 located in al Wasl Road (see map below for the exact location).

Requirements for adoption

• Passport copy
• AP adoption contract (provided by us)
• Please make sure you have a cat carrier (no cats will be allowed to leave the clinic unless securely fastened into a carrier). Alternatively you could purchase a carrier from the vet clinic we are holding the adoption day at. Do not forget those above mentioned documents.

• For adoption, we ask that new owners abide by the animal medical welfare requirements as per UAE LAW N16 for the Respect of Animal Welfare .

LIFE EXPECTANCY OF A CAT COULD BE 14 YEARS AND SOMETIMES EVEN LONGER. ARE YOU READY TO MAKE THAT COMMITMENT? IF NOT, DO NOT TAKE A PET, FOSTER INSTEAD! IF YOU ARE WILLING TO ADOPT A PET, MAKE SURE YOU GET SOME INFORMATION ON SHIPMENT PRICES AND PAPERWORK REQUIRED SO THEY WILL GO WITH YOU WHEN YOU LEAVE THE UAE. ABANDONING PETS IS NOT ONLY UNCIVILIZED BUT AGAINST ANIMAL WELFARE LAW IN THE UAE " DON'T BE THE REASON FOR ANIMAL SUFFERING"
For more details please emails us at admin@friendsofanimalsdxb.com
